The Yellowstone Journey
Come into Profound Connection - with yourself, with others, and the land.
You are ready to step into the most authentic expression of your gifts and genius.
Nature helps us listen deeply to our intuition, and align with what matters most. Things get simpler “out there.” You’ll find out what you are made of. You’ll start shedding the stuff that keeps you stuck and separate from your truest self. You’ll discover what it means to feel exquisitely held in beloved community, something that uniquely happens through the interdependence of an expedition. You’ll find the most profound teacher is the land and more than human world, there to guide and give you unshakable support. You’ll get powerful, laser sharp, and loving coaching that will support you to claim your capacity to live into the truest, most alive version of you.
August 28 - September 2, 2025
a moderate expedition, for people comfortable with physical exertion. Beginners welcome. You do NOT need to have backpacking or outdoor experience to thrive on this trip.
4 days of backpacking. This is our shortest expedition. Ideal for folks who can’t get away for full week but want the full One Wild Life experience.
offered for women, non-binary, trans, and gender expansive folks who feel belonging in women’s spaces.
starts and ends in Bozeman, MT.

• A co-created, intentionally facilitated community, that is nourishing, rich and lets you feel brave enough to try wild new moves.
• Moments of challenge that push you mentally, physically and/or emotionally.
• An expedition that is facilitated and led but not guided. You’ll learn backcountry camping systems. You will contribute to cooking, setting up tents, decision making and navigation.
• A mix of solo reflection time, individual coaching, facilitated group practice, along with working towards expedition goals —getting to camp each night, keeping each other safe, and practicing right relationship with the land.
You’ll come away with:
• Deep confidence and self trust, in who you are, what you know, and what matters most to you.
• Awareness, insight and practices to take into real life that let you lead and live in powerful alignment with your inner compass.
• Strategies to work with the patterns and habits that get in your way.
• A community of kindred spirits dedicated to your evolution.
I shed my heavy pack 8 months ago but still feel your company alongside as profound transformation continues to shift my world inside and out.
I hiked into Yellowstone one way and emerged into a whole new, deeper way of being in the world that continues to unfold. Heart sure and steady on.

Here’s what happens on the Expedition:
-
✺
Front End / Pre-Trip Coaching
You begin with two coaching calls to get clear on the change you long for. Together we’ll design your unique coaching program that lets you see yourself clearly and imagine a new way of being that supports your deepest alignment.
-
✺
The Expedition
We will put on our backpacks and hike for 4 days through the stunning Black Canyon section of the Yellowstone River. We’ll hike 3-6 miles each day. We’ll start our mornings with guided movement and mindfulness practice along with prompts and reflections to guide our hike. You’ll challenge your body, learn and live as a group, watch your patterns and try powerful new moves.
-
✺
The Place
Yellowstone is home to over 49 tribes who have deep connections to this place. We’ll hike through the spectacular Black Canyon along the Yellowstone River, sacred to many Indigenous nations. We’ll have time to swim, climb up to high vistas, sit still and reflect. The river will be our companion, we might meet a bison along the trail, hear elk calls in the early morning and fall asleep each night under the vast starry sky.
-
✺
Post-Expedition Coaching
After the dust has settled and laundry is done you’ll get on a call with your coach to integrate and anchor what has come alive in you. You’ll map out a path forward that allows you to live into your new way of being.
-
✺
Online Community
We’ll stay connected in a private online group where we cheer each other on and give and get support. Many of our participants say the bonds they formed on our expeditions are the most powerful gift of this experience.

3 personalized coaching calls, along with the full expedition experience. Once you arrive in Bozeman MT, accommodation, travel and all meals are included, with the exception of our closing dinner. We provide all group camping gear. We’ll give you a detailed equipment list and help you decide what to pack or what you may need to buy. Some individual gear is available to borrow. Our backcountry meals are healthy, grains, nuts, dairy, vegetables and meats. Specific dietary needs can be easily met.

Nuts and Bolts
We meet in Bozeman MT on the afternoon of August 28 and spend the first night at a campground close to our trailhead. We will organize and pack our gear, share a meal around the fire and begin to get to know each other. The next morning we drive to the trailhead and have a short hike to our first camp. You can expect to hike between 3 - 6 miles each day on well-maintained trail. Camp will be simple outdoor living with no facilities. We’ll carry packs that weigh 40-45 lbs. Each of us contributes to cooking, outdoor living tasks and a supportive group culture. On September 1, we’ll hike to the end of the canyon. That evening we will stay at Chico Hotsprings where we can debrief, soak and have a celebratory dinner. You head home the next day.
You do not need to have prior experience backpacking or camping. We will provide all the support to let you thrive even if you have never slept outside or hiked on a trail. You need to be comfortable walking long distances and with physical exertion. You need to be open to experiencing your body in new and challenging ways. Often, people are surprised by how capable they are physically and humbled by mental challenges they didn’t expect. You do NOT need to be a super athlete to thrive on this expedition.
